Do you ever wonder what it is like to be floating inside a spacesuit? Or feel the acceleration of launch in a spacesuit? IIAS is the only commercial institute that can provide this experience with a 100% safety record. IIAS provides spacesuit training and two microgravity flights, one of which will be in the spacesuit.
Day 1: Spacesuit operational training in mission-qualified spacesuit: don / doff, pressurize, perform safety checks, and conduct basic operations
Day 2: Spacesuit technician training and certification: learn about space suit operations and safety in teams, support hardware, and systems
Day 3: Test readiness review and team training: work with your team of support personnel including your IIAS test director, in-flight medical officer, assistant, and equipment technician
Day 4: Unsuited test flight: fly up to 18 parabolas in a support role for familiarization with the campaign as well as a means for IIAS to verify your ability to safely fly in a spacesuit in zero-g
Day 5: Suited microgravity flight: assuming you meet safety standards and don’t get sick on prior test flights, take all you have learned and apply it pressurized and in a real spacesuit
Note: IIAS has a 100% safety record in these activities.
